Replace Locking Clip

If you need to remove slide-up locks from the pet door frames:

1. Slide the existing lock clip to the up position.
2. Insert a flat blade screwdriver between the pet door frame and the lock clip, from above and in the centre of the lock clip (see picture).
3. Lever the screwdriver out while pushing the clip up. This will release the small pins on the back of the lock clip from their slots.

To fit slide-up locks:

1. Prior to fitting the replacement slide-up lock make sure it is in the up-right position, toes on the paw print are at the top.
2. Push Lock firmly down into the frame.
